About The Mission
The Crisis
2016 marks an alarming year in which the daunting cloud of uncertainty is prevalent more than ever. From a turbulent presidential race to widespread terrorism affecting countries across the globe, there is much cause for concern regarding the safety of the Jewish people and our homeland.
The Power of One
Every Jew was born with an innate “brotherhood” mentality that connects each and every one of us. Through thick and thin, we are naturally there for each other, whether physically or in prayer.
In times of crisis, the Jewish nation has historically turned to prayer in order to help us persevere and overcome the odds.
What We Did About It
Orchestrated by the Acheinu organization, the Day of Jewish Unity was born: a revolutionary initiative designed to unify all Jewish people from around the world in a day of prayer on behalf of the current -and cautioning – state of affairs, both nationally and internationally.
Join over one million individuals from around the world on behalf of the perils facing the world today! Unite for our country. Unite for humanity.
The Result
We did it together! In 2015, we were able to unite over 500,000 Jews around the world in a Day of Jewish Unity and prayer!
2016’s goal: Riding the wave of last year’s outstanding success of over 500,000 participants, we are spreading our wings and aiming to reach the next level. With your help, we can achieve our milestone of joining over 1 MILLION JEWS ACROSS THE WOLRD!
The Future
Day of Jewish Unity continues to remain a driving force uniting all creative waves of impact on the world at large.
A Special Day
This day marks the commemoration of the great Chofetz Chaim, an influential Rabbi who taught the severity of the sin of “Lashon Hora” – speaking gossip or ill of another. Considering the polarizing political climate and the rancor rampant in the discourse between both campaigns, Acheinu is spearheading an initiative to join thousands of people around the world in a Day of Jewish Unity.
