About The Mission

The Crisis

The political diversity and relentless hostility we face today is unprecedented. From our polarizing environment that has spawned a nation divided to global military threats that continue to wreak havoc, the notion of peace and unity has never been more distant.

The Power of One

Every Jew was born with an innate “brotherhood” mentality that connects every one of us. We are always there for each other, physically and in prayer. In times of crisis, the Jewish nation has historically turned to prayer for help. With the daunting uncertainty surrounding the well-being of our people and homeland, our prayers are needed more than ever.

What We Did About It

Orchestrated by Acheinu (the Kiruv arm of Dirshu), the Day of Jewish Unity was born: a revolutionary initiative designed to unify all Jewish people from around the world in a day of peace and prayer on behalf of the current — and cautioning – state of affairs, both domestically and internationally.

The Result

More than 1 million people around the world united for a day of peace and prayer to help end global hostility, havoc and uncertainty. From Israel to Houston, Day Of Jewish Unity filled the world with much needed prayer, hope and promise.

The Future

The Day of Jewish Unity continues to remain a driving force uniting all creative waves of impact on the world at large.

A Special Day

This day marks the commemoration of the great Chofetz Chaim, an influential Rabbi who taught the severity of the sin of “Lashon Hora” – speaking gossip or ill of another. Considering today’s polarizing environment and dangerously high level of hostility wreaking havoc across the world, Acheinu is spearheading an initiative to unite people around the world for a Day of Jewish Unity.
